laboratories the vaccine against COVID-19 has been obtained, however, due to the great variety of restrictions that have been agreed upon worldwide, airlines have been affected by the low connectivity among nations, which has generated the preparation of an unprecedented logistical operation to reach the entire world population, more than 7 billion people, with the long-awaited vaccine in more than 190 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Air_transportation_of_COVID-19_vaccines\"><\/span><strong>Air transportation of COVID-19 vaccines<\/strong><strong><\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rafael Schvartzman, regional vice president for Europe of IATA, the International Air Transport Association, has mentioned that vaccine transportation is one of the best-known protocols and logistics for air transport companies, and he has suggested that in order to make a rapid and efficient transport of the COVID-19 vaccine, it\u2019s necessary to make a series of revisions to the restrictions that have been activated during the year 2020 as a result of the pandemic caused by that virus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Regarding the protocols, he mentions that air transport already counts with temperature control that ensures the cold chain of vaccines, this is due to the experience in the transport of medicines and vaccines. In addition, the IATA association has made recommendations so that these protocols and logistics have also complied with the distribution and ground transportation.
