The 21 irrefutable laws of Leadership, is one of the books written by John Maxwell, author of more than eighty books that deal mainly with leadership.  If we want to do great things in our life, we must prepare ourselves and become great leaders since to be at the head of a Company we must make sure that people trust us because without trust we cannot be people of reference. Next, we will share the keys to developing the skills needed to be a great leader.

The Law of the limit

The limit of growth of the person in the work or company will be limited to the leadership capacity that he has, let’s remember that the greater our leadership, the greater our effectiveness will be; to achieve success is very important to have intelligence, talent and dedication, together with the skill of leader since without this, the rest will not give the result.

Law of influence

Good leaders will always influence people positively, and the measure of our leadership will be the influence we have on others, it is not enough to have the knowledge and work hard to be a leader; we will see the results of leadership when we realize the influence we have had in others.

Law of process

We are developing leadership day by day, and we have to have as a base values such as discipline, respect, the ability to treat other people, emotional strength and to have a vision, among other values, that we will be cultivating with constancy and perseverance in the course of time because to become a leader, you need a process.

Law of navigation

To have the leadership it is necessary to plan and be able to follow what is planned; if we want our work team to have confidence in us and feel secure, it is necessary to have good planning for them along with a clear vision, we have to take into account that a Company that does not have a great leader, will not get good results.

Law of Hutton

When a good leader addresses the working group, people will listen attentively and act on the group’s planning. Great leaders are characterized by knowledge in their work, the strength of their character, as well as strong intuition and great talent.

Law of the land

The most valuable asset we have is our trust if we make mistakes we must recognize them, this way we will generate trust. We can also develop it by achieving results in our work and demonstrating our concern for the company’s situations. The leader must be respected and for this, it is important that his decisions taken are forceful and solid.

Law of respect

People will always follow others who are stronger than themselves, great leaders are respected by both their followers and their opponents, so someone who lacks character does not earn people’s respect and this makes it very difficult for him to become a leader.

Law of intuition

Intuition is one of the most difficult skills to acquire and it develops over time and through experience. There are people who have intuition in an innate way so this is a great advantage. When a person with intuition points the group in the right direction, most of the time he is right.

Law of magnetism

By law, we attract what we are, if we are successful, prosperous people who always act to make the difference, then we will find prosperous and successful people; if on the contrary, we are attracting people we do not want in our lives, we must evaluate our leadership and strengthen those areas where we need to improve.

Law of connection

When a leader achieves emotional connection with his work team, a bond will be created that is based on work ethic and loyalty, as people are shaken in a positive way, this is how the best results come about because everyone begins to fight for a common goal.

If you want to see the continuation of the laws you can read them in our article entitled 21 irrefutable laws of leadership by John Maxwell (second part), they are the necessary key to develop our skills as leaders; in order to achieve the desired results, we must go over them several times.
